Safeguarding Audit

Simon and Ann offer an audit of safeguarding at your school, academy or college.

Every child deserves a safe and secure environment to learn and grow and we have developed a rigorous auditing process to help identify potential safeguarding issues and propose recommendations and actions to address them.

Simon and Ann will conduct a thorough assessment of your school's safeguarding policies and procedures, including risk assessments, staff training, pupil/student welfare, safeguarding in the curriculum, safer recruitment and single central record compliance. They'll also evaluate your school's compliance with the Education Act 2002 and the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.

The audit typically involves Simon and Ann making a visit and holding meetings with staff, senior leaders and pupils/students. The day will conclude with feedback to senior leaders. We can tailor this to your requirements. 

We will prepare a report with a summary of the findings including recommendations and actions for improvement. We will highlight any identified areas of non-compliance with the statutory guidance.
